We are wives, mothers, sisters and daughters, and we have SKILLS! Whether it's handstitching on those Girl Scout patches, hemming slacks on your old Singer sewing machine, crocheting your own winter caps, knitting up a pair of slipper socks or quilting a baby blanket for every new arrival in your circle of family and friends, you rock the womanly arts! This group is part of my New Year's resolution to rock my skills with other women who share my passion for sustaining the traditions and yes, ART!, of our mothers and grandmothers into the new millennium. In the past, many of us have had a squabble or two with sisters or cousins over who would get great-grandma's hand sewn treasures. More and more women today are seeing the real value of creating and crafting one-of-a-kind gems for their children and grand-children to bicker over someday. Whether you are new to the womanly arts or a long-time devotee, join this Meetup for opportunities to gather together to share projects, stories, tips and tricks for every womanly art. Beginners and experts alike are welcome.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
