Being a multicultural city, Leicester has a lot to offer in terms of world cuisine, live/art house performances and colourful festivals. As for me, I enjoy a nice curry and film but it would be nice doing this experience with company who appreciate it. The purpose of the group is so that like minded cosmopolites can get together and enjoy a social meetup in a friendly setting. Anyone who would like to experience different culture and cuisines would be very welcome. Our members come from different cultural and professional background and thus, have lots of interesting stories to share :). If you would like to meet new friends and have an enjoyable time, come and join us.

Monthly World Cuisine Dine Out (this may include Thai, Middle-Eastern, Chinese, Italian, Japanese etc)
Film Club (Art House movies, Foreign Films, Bollywood and occasional Blockbusters)
Breakfast Club (weekend brunches and breakfasts)
Coffee Culture (simply catching up over coffee and cakes)
Art/Cultural Day-Out (Museum, Live Performances, Music, Theatre, Art Gallery)
Cafe Intelligentsia: Book and Philosophy Club

We also proposed to hold annual and occasional get-together such as:
Holiday and Weekend Away to a cultural city - (London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Bath Spa) or even abroad (Paris, Rome, Berlin, Seville)
Celebrating Multicultural Festivals and Events (Devali, Christmas, Hanukah, Chinese New Year)
Summer BBQ (subject to interest)
Leicester Annual Festival (e.g. Riverside Festival, Summer Sundae)
Adventure and Outdoor Activities (e.g. Hot Air Balloon Ride, Paintballing, Walking With Wolves, Kayaking etc).
And finally, we welcome input and suggestions from members, who would like to embark on their interest and share them with the group. SO, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS and together we can make this a really spontaneous, wonderful, fun and enjoyable group!
