The 411

- Plan to arrive at the San Diego Airport (SAN) on July 21st (before noon) and fly out on July 24th (anytime). You will need to arrange and pay for your own flights.

Local transportation will be by mini van.

There will be one photography mentor/driver for every six participants.

Day 1 (July 21st)

 ~ Arrive at the San Diego Airport before noon.

  ~ Make our way to our hotel and situate ourselves in our room.

~ Free time to explore and photograph the grounds and nearby beach.

~ Mingle with local photographers at a meet-and-greet dinner.

 ~ End the day with a roundtable discussion of the days activities and address equipment/techniques questions.

Day 2 (July 22nd)

~ Wake early and grab our cameras for a sure-to-be-beautiful beach sunrise and wildlife photo ops.

~ Breakfast at Hotel

~ Explore La Jolla's art and photography galleries and enjoy lunch.

~ Spa treatments!

~ The remainder of the day is yours to explore the area.

 ~ End the day with a roundtable discussion of the days activities and address equipment/technique questions.

Day 3 (July 23rd)

 ~ Spend the morning at Torrey Pines State Park. There are options to take a guided nature walk, explore as a group, or enjoy the park at your own pace.

 ~ Lunch in Balboa Park

 ~ Be inspired at the Museum of Photographic Arts.

 ~ Spend the afternoon at Cabrillo National Monument.

 ~ Spend the evening photographing at Mission Beach and Belmont Park

 ~ End the day with a roundtable discussion of the days activities and address equipment/techniques questions.

Day 4 (July 24th)

 ~ Goodbyes are never fun so make your flight out as late as you can stand.

 ~ We will hang out in the marinas and downtown until individuals need to catch their flights. (tear!)
