Self-publishing is all the rage these days, but what's it really like to self-publish your fiction? What are the benefits, the risks, the hidden costs and the expectations? Group members who have self-published will discuss their experiences. We're going to focus on fiction, rather than non-fiction, in this discussion since it can be a very different beast to tackle.
A $5 donation is requested.
First-time attendees: Welcome! You'll find we're a small but very active group of writers who have lots of opinions to express. We cover a vast range of experience from writers who are just starting out to those who are already published. All you need to bring when you attend is something to take notes on.
The Branderberry is a cozy meeting room. Bonnie makes us tea and often someone brings cookies. Members are welcome to bring their own beverages or snacks with them since the Branderberry isn't a restaurant.
