Creating and Publishing a book has proven to be a challenge. With many lessons learned and many more to learn this group is to build a family of writers to help share wisdom for creating successful authors.

Currently the group has the privacy settings turned on to keep member's personal information private. This group is for authors and those planning to be authors wanting to share information to help each other. If you are coming here to gain customers for your business only you are not welcome. Sponsors may be welcome depending on the offer.

Most organizers have a reason for running a Meetup group and many not with best intentions to the members (There is a price tag to running a meetup group). My purpose of this group was my own self motivation while giving other active writers the chance to flow with me through the year 2013 towards the successful publishing and marketing of at least one book. So motivation is what I am getting and hopefully sharing with you the member. There is much information and strategies to cover and each monthly meeting will be of importance towards success.

By group consensus there is NO membership fee. If a person does not attend at least one meeting and their profile says “Last visited over two months ago”, I will remove them as a member. This is about publishing a book this year or making efforts toward doing so or active participation. Once a person attends a monthly meeting they will be considered a full member and unless they become unreachable for many months will remain a member.

Nobody walks away from the monthly meeting without gaining something of value. That is my goal! The first meetings were very important and under files you can find a rough Book Plan document to help make 2013 the year for you to publish a book.

Periodicity of the Meetup will be monthly. Adding other meetings or social coffee (say Paneras bread) to the calendar will happen if members are interested in such. If you as a member have an idea for a meeting or social event let me know and I will add it to the calendar. These are social and is your job to bring worth to the these meetings for self.

I will do my best to promote and support and activity among members. I review the message boards at least daily and will set them up to best support members.
