CRAFT- Why they said that

If you've ever read a work of fiction or non-fiction that didn't ring true, you know the importance of Deep point of view and Dialogue. In this workshop, multi-published author Mia Zachary will show you how to reveal story detail through your characters' thoughts, words, actions, inaction and reactions. ($2 donation for materials appreciated.)

    Posing a question about dialog here so I don't forget it:

    Do you have to have a whole conversation or can you dialog a line or two - basically the parts the characters really want to say themselves, in the middle of description of the conversation?

    I can give an example in 'class' - It will be from Herbert's second chapter, when he and Andrew are discussing tabithia Citizenship (I think - I was writing it at 5:30 this morning). :}
