ZH3 Run #734 Red Nose Day on March 15, Hash on March 14

Red Nose Day Hash

Don't know what Red nOse Day is? Check out this link:

http://www.rednoseday.com/

OK, so here's the deal.  We have brought in at vast expense from the UK, 16 red noses, which we shall sell at the Hash for CHF2 each - covers the cost and a small premium, which will go to the charity. First come, first served. Hash cash will go Red Nose Day/Comic Relief, as we are using Hash Stash reserves for the beer.  You will also be encouraged to make further voluntary donations as you wish.  So that the noses do not feel lonely in a foreign land, wear something red to keep them company.  Bring a joke, just in case...  Bring a torch if you're frightened of the dark.  See you there!

I just love those walks in the snow!
And this one was surprisingly short for Ice Footsie :-P
Really liked the Schümli Pflümli (?) as well :-)

What can I say, other than: walking round in winter wonderland.......
good fun and thanks to the excellent map, the walkers were able to find a trail beyond trail to get to the beer

While the runners just followed a dynamic orange marker once the snow came to hide true trail. On on!

Is this the Swiss restaurant we went to when Wet & Ready set the course and hid all the checkpoints in the snow? ;-) (When the sensible runners cheated and followed the walkers trail!)

Shall decide the venue this weekend - it will be familiar. Now looking for ideas. The idea of red-nose day (aka comic relief day) is to raise money for kids and poor communities through comedy, so we need to do something a bit out of the ordinary. Looking for ideas. Here are some suggestions.
    - Run in red. We have the noses to go with your outfits. Downdowns for the best and the worst.
    - Donate the hash money, or each makes a donation of their choosing. Is the Hash rich enough to match the donations?
    - Circle of jokes. Each runner brings their best joke to the circle - downdowns awarded for the excellent and excruciating contributions.
    - What else? All ideas welcome...

    hi Ice Footsie
yes, I would be all for it. Never let anything pass by that could be fun AND have a meaning. Anyway, if you're the official hare for this Thursday, then you can do any topic you want. If you are not the official hare, please contact the Hare Raiser and ask if the date is still free and if it isn't ask for the Hare of this date and see if you can arrange for a swap of dates.
Red noses can currently bought all ôver the place because of Fasnacht.
