ZH3 Hash No 754: Tribute to 'MERICA Main Event!

I'm giving you advance notice that this is probably going to be one of the most memorable hashes in ZH3 history. Not to be missed.

We'll be celebrating all that is great about the second greatest country in the world:

We're going to have special new hash markings, a special appearance by Edward Snowden and some very American surprises along the way on this run. It will also be followed by a good old-fashioned, American cook-out on the water and FIREWORKS celebrating our independence from the Brits (also celebrated by the Brits).

The standard run, beer, and snacks will be the standard 5 CHF.

If you would like to stay for the BBQ, we'll have burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, pasta salad, fruit, etc... and of course more beer. This is an additional 15 CHF.

Don't forget that this is also part of a three-night event, so also plan to join us on Thursday and Friday:

  • Thursday 4th-July (Hash No 753): Pre-Lube R*n
  • Friday 5th-July (Pub Crawl): Social event drinking and celebrating 'MERICA
  • Saturday 6th-July (Hash No 754): Tribute to 'MERICA Main Event!

Starting Location: Restaurant Die Waid; Waidbadstrasse 45 -- Take the 38 or 69 Bus. This will be A to A. Bag drop at the restaurant and the cook-out will be at a spectacular viewpoint not far from the restaurant.

Wear red, white, and blue!

Thanks to Lost Pussy and co-virgin hare, Quickie Lickie, for a great independence series. Bring back the trumpet soon! Much more melodic than whistles. Also thanks to the team of helpers for making the cookout such a success.

SUPER.....naturally. Great job hares, this was really a stellar series! Locals joining the circle, girls swimming, Swiss assistants, even saw some fireworks! These are mammories:)

Great Hash! Good job Hares and thanks for the organising (I witnessed some of the pain). I had loads of fun - even including the impromptu bath with Black Udder... AND lets not forget the naming - Forrest Hump - absolutely inspired suggestion from Chainsaw!
PS - no need to thank me for the weather it was my pleasure :)

Hi Christina. I am coming with the pram. Can I do the runner trail with the pram? Some stairs are ok. What is hard are narrow paths. I would love to be able to run.

The hares are out setting trail so may not see the message! I'm sure you'll be fine - we'll all help carry if needs be!

and why are you prioritizing your other commitment over this one?????? Is it because you're bitter that we have our independence?????

Is this one suitable for kids? (Age 6 and8)

    • Roswitha

oops forgot to say: The circle after the run and before the dinner will most probably not be suitable for the sensitive ears and minds of kids that age :-)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
