ZH3 814 that FUNNY Feelin in my Tummy, Rollercoaster of Love

Step right up and get your tickets!  Slowly crank up the hill and then fly down the other side!  Repeat.  There will be twists and turns, slow climbs and sharp drops.  Anyone in the first car (you FRBs) may experience fish hooks, check backs, and of course the usual check for the trail.  It's worth the price of admission as you will enjoy a city/woodsy trail with a refreshment stop at the end and outstanding company.  All that for only 5 chfs.  Try that at Disney or Europark.

I plan on an ON TIME start, so please get there earlier than 7:00 so we can be off and running.  If you are not there, the flour marks will guide you :-)

Yet another trail in lovely and convenient Oerlikon.  The hare is determined to make things easy for this small but enthusiastic haring team.

The meeting point is a very nice restaurant that has a section that they can reserve for us as well as keep the bags.

Please let me know if you will stay either for just drinks or for dinner.

http://eraoraristorante.ch/index.php/component/content/?view=featured

Hare is Dr NOB, venue TBD. Meet at 6.45pm to start at 7.00pm. If you have not hashed before, true trail is typically 6-7km, and there are all speeds in the group, including walkers who normally do a shorter route. If you are a slow runner, you will do something close to true trail distance, as there are places where the trail disappears, and the front runners have to find it - while they are looking, the rest of us have a chance to catch up. If you are a quick runner you will go further, probably around 10k.The hare (person who lays the trail) is really aiming for everyone to get to the end at about the same time in order to take part in the more social side of the run. There will be a charge of CHF5 to cover beer and snacks

I can join for the run itself-- is there parking near by?

    May 28, 2014

    • philip S.

Checking on Google maps. I know for sure there is a parkhaus at the Eurospar on Berninastrasse. There is probably blue zone street parking as well even closer.

Unrelated to hashing: Do any of you fine people have a small regular screwdriver. By small I'm taking like 3-5 mm across. I need to do some home electrical work.
