A Creative Talk: Drink and Book

Let's talk about books.

The subject for this meetup will be books about creativity: The creative process, the creative habit, connecting to your creative voice, etc.

Share a book you find valuable, tell us about it, about the author, whatever you'd like to share. You can talk 3 minutes, or 10 minutes, it's really up to you. Please comment if you're planning to share, so I could have an idea about how many people would need time to speak.

Just listening is cool too. You are also welcome to come and listen, maybe you don't have a book to share.

What else would you like to share in this format, in future meetups? Paintings you love? A project you're working on? Something else that could inspire a creative talk? Even a challenge you have at work could be an issue to bring to the table.

If you have an idea, or a question about this - share it here with a comment - I promise to answer to each one.

Where? Helvti Diner. We'll just have a drink, their kitchen will be closed. But you should know - this place has the best burgers in Zurich.

Thank you everyone for coming and taking part. We got to know new interesting books, and the books brought up very interesting discussions about creativity. It was wonderful to exchange opinions, and learn from each other. If any one wants to post information about the books they brought, that would be nice. My book was: "The inner game of work", by Timothy Gallwey.

Would it be possible that I take my son (1 year old) with me this time? His nanny is not available at this time.

If that's ok, I can talk briefly about the book: Bird by Bird from Anne Lamott, which is a book based on a writing workshop the author used to give.
