To start this group, i have arranged a table at Ricco's Kunststuben in Küsnacht for a lunch sitting at 12:00pm on Saturday October 5th. The location is a low entry barrier regarding travel from Zürich and if this group takes off we'll see ourselves traveling further away quickly.
The place was formerly (until end 2010) known as "Petermann's Kunsstuben" run by Horst Petermann, who has passed on his chef hat to his long time sous-chef, Rico Zandonella. This restaurnat has long be somewhat of an institution on the Zürisee gold coast and reportedly the quality has not decreased since the handover.
The 6 course tasting menu comes at CHF 180, there is an optional wine pairing available for additional CHF 120 and vegetarians apparently will find happiness too, if we let them know in advance.
The degustationsmenü (tasting menu) changes with the seasons. Since i have absolutely no idea how many people will be joining this meetup, so i have booked a table for 6 people to start with. If the seats get taken quickly i'll check by how many seats we can expand the reservation.
