Restaurant USAGIYAMA Zashiki

Hotel Restaurant Ryokan Hasenberg / Usagiyama

Japanese 1 star Michelin restaurant in Baden. I think it is the only Japanese restaurant with a star in Switzerland.

The gourmet restaurant is located on the first floor and ground floor. It is possible to have the 2 menus mentioned below either in the ground floor area of the restaurant or on the first floor area of the restaurant.

The first floor only consists of small private room. This is a very traditional way for exclusive restaurants in Japan and as far as I can read from their homepage the waiters are dressed in kimonos. The service is done by strict rules even when entering and exiting the private dining room. The private dining room cost CHF 80 per room. If there is interest for booking a private room the maximum capacity will be clarified.

There is no a la carte but 2 menus to choose from:

Oh dear, this date does not work for me. I will be on Christmas Holidays as well. If the restaurant is really good, we could do it a 2nd time in the new year? Take care, Susanne

    I can't respond until I know a date?

Uhh, we should write this more often ad make it more explicit, Patricia. My bad. The RSVP process with these suggestions without date goes like this here: As discussed during our first meetup at the Kunststuben, we actually put a lot of suggestions up here and responding "yes" tells the organizer the general wilingness to go there. Wit enough positive resonance, the organizer fixes a date with the place, clears out the RSVP list and then everyone can RSVP _again_ with a binding deposit of CHF 50.- (which will be returned on site at the restaurant by the organizer) for the date of the actual reservation.
