Photography has been one of my interests since my youth. Much has changed since, the pictures have become clearer the aproach more focused, yet I still can learn from others.
Amateur, with lots of gear but with not enough artistic spark.
Portraits and Action shots are a passion of mine. I have taken lots of birds and wildlife, but tastes change and opportunities arise.
I have read many books on the topic, but practice, practice, practice.
I like to practice with lights and shade.

Hi Peter! I'm really looking forward to my first meetup but things are a little crazy at the moment. We moved to Calgary in February and have just found a house, we move in a couple of weeks. I've got a baby so I need to find a session that fits in with childcare. I will attend soon though :)
Thanks Peter! I look forward to getting out with and meeting other members soon!!
Enjoyed the shoot tonight. So much to learn... so little time!
Thanks Peter, and for the warm welcome at the Stampede last night!
I have sent a message off to everyone that is signed up asking 3 questions for you:
Are you still attending the AM/PM shoot at the Warehouse?
Do you have Lighting Equipment and will you be bringing it?
Do you have Models lined up? If so just need to know how many?
Ho Peter,
Would love the chance to work with you, add me on FB to see the most recent Tampa Shoot I Directed - ideas that may spark some creativity for you. :D
sorry...I debated so much about joining the Saturday meet-up I must have forgotten the outcome. I would not have come anyways as I was working nights and it was very busy and I was very tired. I will be more careful about meetups in the future
Thank you for the photos.... I added myself here before i notice its only photographers..
.. yea blonde moment on my part :S hahaha
Hi Peter, Sorry for the late reply. Looking forward to meeting you at the Beyond Lightroom workshop
Hi Peter, thanks for the greeting! I am super excited to start taking photos with this group! As far as the waterfall goes, that is Helmcken Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park close to Clearwater, BC. We took a two week road trip last summer to Alaska, and we stopped here for a few days on the way back home. It is definitely one of the most impressive falls I have ever seen!
