We really need your help to make this a BIG success! Please rally everyone in your precinct to come. Bring signs promoting your favorite candidates. We're going to need volunteers, too. This is your chance to be part of history. Tarrant County is going to show the rest of the country how to take back their government!

I am available to help on Saturday.
Also, can/should NETTP have a table? What is the process?

Deborah, I saw Ellen Lopez's message and I too am able to help. I would also like to set up a booth for the Northwest Tarrant County Tea Party.

We hand placed 350 letters on doors in precinct #1437 advertising this event-as well as early voting locations and dates and Primary Election location and date. Only spoke to about 8 people , but all responded positively.

Found this comment in Dallas News online article today (2/21) about candidates campaigns for Governor's race. Exactly what we wanted out of yesterday's Cowtown event! 'I went with my family yesterday afternoon to vote for Medina as well. We were all impressed after hearing her speak in Fort Worth yesterday, and getting to shake her hand and talk with her afterward was even better. I hope Texans will do some research on Mrs. Medina before voting for either of the "business as usual" candidates every news media outlet in Texas wants you to vote for.' SarahB The article went on to say about Perry: "He has held the office for nearly a decade, but even his footwear says he's ready for the fight to retain it. The black alligator boots were hand-detailed with "Come and Take It," the defiant flag flown over Gonzales during the first battle for Texas independence." We say to Mr. Perry ... We're comin' .... and We're takin' it!

I sincerely enjoyed this opportunity to meet the candidates. I especially appreciated the opportunity to hear and meet Debra Medina and really thank her for taking the time to address our groups. The only problem we had was in hearing the speakers once the floor was opened up for people to go down into the arena and speak one on one to the candidates while others were still speaking. This seemed awkward also and seemed to prevent everyone from hearing all the speakers who came to talk. Thanks for the opportunity and we don't mean to be very critical. We do appreciate the day!

I really liked the idea of access to all the candidates. I was able to meet and question the candidates about my concerns. I am also grateful for the 912 Ft Worth Group as without being a part of this group I would not have had the knowledge to ask an intelligent question of any candidates.
