Stilt Walking & Dancing Workshop

Learn how to walk and dance on the stilts!!!

This exciting workshop offered by The Aerial Classroom will teach you how to walk comfortably on 2' tall wooden peg stilts.  The workshop will also focus primarily on how to dance on stilts.  Students will learn how to do different kicks, spins, twirls, and other dance moves. No experience is necessary.

This workshop is open to all levels, ages 12+. (Parents need to RSVP their kids for the workshop, and sign a release form giving minors permission to attend). This workshop is 6 class meetings that are 2 hours in length every Thursday from 12-2pm, starting April 11, 2013 - May 16, 2013.  Student's will need to either buy or rent stilts in order to participate in the workshop (stilt rental/purchase available on through our website under the "Buy Classes" tab).

PRICING:

  • The cost is $225 for the whole 6 class workshop (stilt rental/purchase fee not included)
  • Stilt rental = $45 (No rental stilts are allowed to leave the studio at any time)
  • Stilt Purchase = $70

Students are allowed to bring their own stilts as long as they are peg stilts that are a minimum of 2' tall and a maximum of 3' tall.  All students are required to bring their own wrist guards and knee pads, and these must be worn at all times during the workshop.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: April 7, 2013

PLEASE NOTE: You must visit www.TheAerialClassroom.com and pay for the workshop, then make your reservation, and rent or buy your stilts in order to attend.  Your RSVP on meetup.com does not complete your registration for the workshop!  Space is limited to 10 people, and we only have a certain amount of stilts available for rent/purchase.  So please be sure to submit your payment/reservation and stilt fee all at the same time to guarantee your space in the Workshop.

We are also offering a payment plan for the cost of the Workshop to make it more convenient for students.  The payment plan will allow students to split the $225 into two payments of $112.50.  Payments will automatically be billed on 4/01/13 and 5/01/13.  The payment plan is available under the "Contracts" section of our website when you click on the "Buy Classes" tab, or by clicking here.

Student's can get an Early Bird discount on the cost of the Workshop by reserving a spot and paying for the whole Workshop by 3/07/13 (discount does not apply to students registering with the payment plan, only for students that pay the full $225 in one payment).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
