Trail Clearing/Hike: Indian Creek

This will be another hike to check out trail conditions and cut back downed trees and alders, this time on the Indian Creek end of the Arctic to Indian trail. I'm not sure how far we'll get, but plan on being out five or six hours. If possible, bring a small saw or loppers, along with lunch, water and appropriate gear for the weather. I'll bring an extra saw and pair of loppers.

We can carpool from Carrs out to the trailhead.

I just heard from Ranger. Crockett that a trail crew is working on the trail today, removing the big downed trees. That means we can head farther up the trail to do some clearing, hopefully getting to some of the big alder patches that need cut back.
