American Wine Society French Wine Tasting @ D'Vine Wine Bar This Wednesday @ 7:00 p.m.

From: Michael S.
Sent on: Tuesday, September 18, 2012, 12:02 AM

Hello, I heard about this wine tasting this Wednesday evening that I thought you all would be interested to know about.  I am not able to attend unfortunately, but one of our Event Organizers, Charles McKinney, will attend the event and represent the group on behalf of Atlanta Wine Meetup.  You can e-mail me your name or call me at the number below by 5:00 p.m. tomorrow to let me know if you plan on attending the tasting.  We can get a $5 discount on the entrance fee, which means $25 per person, if I get a list of 10 or more people to Don Reddicks by 5:00 p.m. tomorrow, AND you will have to pay CASH or CHECK the day of the event. Let me know ASAP if you are interested in attending the tasting so that I can get the list to Don before 5:00 p.m.

Also, please also check out the event at Wine Xplorer tomorrow night as well on the meetup site!  Debbie Jones is a wonderful instructor and provides a wealth of knowledge on wines around the globe!

Thanks!  The information on the tasting is located below!  I apologize if this is short notice for anyone!

What ever happened to Wines from France?

They’re still making them, right?

Oh, they got expensive didn’t they/

Had some great vintages in the 21st Century and raised their prices. Damn!
Just when I was starting to get over their political leanings .

But wait a minute I saw so some only $12 a bottle or was it $10. And I found out there’s a lot more out there. To prove it we’re going to have a tasting, Red wines of course.

When: Wednesday, 19th of September, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM

Where: D’Vine Wine Bar, 5486 Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd. [Shops of Dunwoody]

How Much: Only $30 per each or $35. if you’re going to use a credit card.

**For Atlanta Wine Meetup members, there is a $5 discount if you pay cash or check the day of the event and you let me know that you are coming to the event by 5:00 Tomorrow!! It will cost you $25 per person if you let me know that you are attending. It is imperative that you let me know so that I can submit your name on a list to Don Reddicks, American Wine Society President of Atlanta Chapter. You can call me tomorrow at[masked] or e-mail me your name at [address removed] to let me know that you will attend the event on Wednesday evening.   Charles McKinney, an Event Organizer for Atlanta Wine Meetup, will be representing the Atlanta Wine Meetup at this event in place of me that evening, since I am not able to attend this event.

And you will be able to taste over 30 wines from all over France: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone Valley, Loire, Languedoc, etc.

Let me know if you’re interested by email [[address removed]], phone message [[masked]] or send money [7055 Hunters Branch Dr., Atlanta 30328]
