What is your Dosha? (Ayurveda)

Discovering Your True Nature.  Ayurveda is a very old system of healing that helps us discover our true nature.  It is when we see ourselves through these ancient ways that our true nature and natural tendencies can be used to bring us back into a state of balance.  Balance in our mind, our physical body and our spiritual practices.

The system of Ayurveda not only helps us understand these natural tendencies but teaches us to embrace them. Did you ever go on a “diet” that worked wonders for your friend and when you tried it, not only did you feel awful, but you actually gained weight?  It wasn’t the right thing for your body.  This class will help you see yourself through the eyes of the 5,000 year old system of healing called Ayurveda where we talk about “doshas.” You will discover your “dosha type” and learn simple ways to bring balance back into your life.

This class is facilitated by Tresa Laferty of Speak to the Earth who is an Ayurveda Health Counselor (intern), Medicinal Aromatherapist and Animal Communicator.  She will share her learned knowledge on Ayurveda as well as blend in her passion for Medicinal Aromatherapy.
