Monday Night (?!) Bastard

So ... Sunday's not going to work out for me again this week. But after a long hiatus, I'm dying for a workout, so I'm throwing out a Monday night Meetup to see if anyone shows.

This will be at our usual location in New Haven, and it will be after dark to make it extra fun.

The Bastard's Bootcamp offers an intense, fun-filled, free outdoor workout combining hills, stairs, body weight and core exercises to engage all your muscle groups while improving endurance and cardio. Jane Fonda, eat your heart out!

Not in peak condition? No big deal. Just be willing to push hard, sweat buckets and feel great when it's over. It's a beast of a workout, but you're a tough bastard.

Bring water, and a towel or yoga mat if you don't like working out on the grass. You can also bring a set of 2- to 4-pound hand weights if you want an extra challenge.

Leave the attitude at home!

      It's getting dark so early that I don't think the evening workouts are going to be feasible much longer anyway. (It'll be cold at night, too.) I'm going to keep the 7 p.m. time on Monday (it worked out ok this week), but probably not after that.
