Around Todd Lake Snowshoe #2 - Level 2-3

This is a repeat of the 9am hike.

No dogs allowed.

We did this last year in a howling gale. It was great! :)

We'll snowshoe down the common corridor from the Mt Bachelor main parking lot and then follow the Todd Lake snowshoe loop out to Todd Lake, go around Todd Lake, and follow the other leg of the loop back to Mt Bachelor. All clockwise.

Level 2-3. About 5 miles and basically flat; expect to spend 2.5-3 hours snow-shoeing. Slow pace. Adult guests are welcome but must sign the group's guest waiver before leaving Starbucks; I'll bring one with me. No dogs please.

It seems that even snowshoers now need a (free) Mt Bachelor Common Corridor pass to walk the common corridor. I'll pop into the Nordic center and get them for all of us on the day.

We'll need drivers and drivers should have snow tires. No parking passes are required.

Meet in/outside the Century Drive Starbucks, the stand-alone store, not the one in Safeway. Please park in the NW corner of the parking lot up near the roundabout.

I'll be driving up from Sunriver so I'll meet you at the Nordic center. What time do you think you'll all be there? Maybe 10:20?

Hi Barbrann, what should I bring? This will be my first snowshoeing adventure. I don't own snowshoes, can I rent them locally? Should I wear clothes that I would snowboard in?

Pine Mountain Sports 255 Century Blvd rents them. Snow board clothes are fine. Layers I prefer that way you can take off layers as you might work up a sweat. A small back pack with the 10 essentials for XC. If you would like to talk to me[masked]

Barbrann, I called the number and some random guy answered and said it was the wrong number.
