Paulina Creek/Lake Trail overnight trip

Starbucks at Fred Meyer 8am. Looks like good weekend to go up to Paulina as temps will be Hi 40 and Lo 28 with a 10-15 mph wind and only 30% chance of rain/snow. We will drive 22 miles south on Hwy 97 and make a left between mile marker 161 & 162 and go 2.8 miles to the Ogden Group horse camp area where the trailhead starts. We will follow the creek up 8.5 miles to the lake and we will pass 3 waterfalls and camp up by the lake. In the morning turn back the way we came in. We will hit snow about 5-6 miles in so have snowshoes or be ready for hiking in snow. The night temp may get as low as 20deg depending on where we set up camp. So have all the gear you need and lets go and have fun. Posted by Travis
