Update [masked]): We received a call from the Senior and disabled services on[masked], and they have reversed their decision my Jan's health insurance and is now covering most of the health cost. We still some help, but we are more focused on sarcoma research and hoping to help others like us that need help with sarcoma. From what I learned there isn't a lot of funding for people with sarcoma. Mostly for other types of cancer.
I know this is an usual event for the hiking group. I have people that have reached out and help during this tough time and they are putting on this event to help us out. I wanted to share this event with you and hope you can make it and have a great time!

>HERE IS JAN TANI'S STORY: June 23, Jan went to the doctor to see why her leg had suddenly swollen to almost double its size. Her husband Aaron had a marathon to run the following Saturday. He'd been training for the run for more than a year. What Aaron & Jan didn't know was they were about to run a wild race together, one they hadn't done any training for. Jan was diagnosed with a rapidly aggressive Sarcoma Cancer of the soft tissue.
