Give a small bio of your outdoor experiences

In addition to hiking, I enjoy rappelling, kayaking, wildflower walks, snow-shoeing, high ropes courses and zip-lines, and scuba-diving in open water and caverns.

What is the maximum altitude you can handle?

I've been to the Mauna Kea observatory in Hawaii -- almost 14,000 ft, traveling up in stages.

Are you familiar with the 10 essentials and how they change with different events?

What outdoor events do you prefer?

I enjoy a variety of events, but especially ones that that are best in a group with the requisite expertise (and equipment) - like high ropes, zip lines, rappelling and cave exploration.

Is your activity pace slow, medium or fast?

My pace is slow to medium due to some foot issues ; plus, I like to stop and observe things along the trail -- birds, animals, insects and flowers.

Moved to Bend from NYC with my husband several years ago, and we are now retired from work and on to play! In addition to the outdoors, we enjoy Tower Theatre, musical events around town, dining out, and engaging conversation with friends.
