Give a small bio of your outdoor experiences

I enjoy hiking, kayaking, sailing, fishing, birding, downhill & XC skiing, snow-shoeing, rappelling, and caving.

What is the maximum altitude you can handle?

Went to Mauna Kea, approximately 14,00 feet.

Are you familiar with the 10 essentials and how they change with different events?

What outdoor events do you prefer?

See list above, but always willing to try new things!

Is your activity pace slow, medium or fast?

I generally hike slowly, because it allows me to see more and take photos. But if there is a goal and a limited time frame, my pace is medium to fast.

I moved to Bend from NYC with my wife several years ago. I'm a retired corporate lawyer, now focused on painting, writing, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
