The Charlottesville Photography Initiative

On Sunday, The CPI will open its doors to the public and the entire CPI member body.

The purpose of our monthly Open House events is to better utilize our community photography facility. We will have the studio, tables and chairs set up for the afternoon and no format to these gatherings.

Please feel free to come by to get out of the house, receive feedback, work on any projects (we have a fast wi-fi network), play with the studio strobes, meet with photographers and much more.

If you have never been to a CPI event, this is a great way to check out our organization before you pay Supporter dues. Also, this is a good opportunity to interact with The CPI leadership one-on-one and let us hear your thoughts.

If you are unsure if you can make it to this event, please RSVP No. If you RSVP Yes, be sure to follow through with your reservation. Please annotate any changes to your attendance as soon as possible through the event page. No shows will be annotated on your profile and may affect your future attendance at events.

This event is open to all members.

always nice to have a chance to talk with other photographers...maybe a demo on using the lights would have helped some who were interested in that...it was quite a crowd though so it was simply wonderful to have an opportunity to meet new faces:)
