Photgrapher Needed: AVID Fall Family Dinner on Nov 7

From: Christian D.

Hi Folks –

We need a volunteer photographer!

The Jouett Middle School is looking for a photographer to take family portraits during their AVID Fall Family Dinner on Nov 7 from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Last year, the family portraits were done using a 2 light set up with a masked background. Dinner will be provided for the photographer.

Please contact Nick Silvester ([address removed]) or Laura Aimone ([address removed]) if you have any questions or would like to photograph the families.

More about the AVID Program:

AVID is a student-selected elective program that prepares students for advanced level high school courses as well as prepares them for college. AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination and it geared for students who would be the first in their families to go to college. AVID’s main mission is to close the achievement gap.

More about the Fall Family Dinner:

Our Fall Family Dinner is an annual event at Jouett. All of the AVID students and their families come to the school for a meal prepared by teachers. We have a guest speaker and then students share some of their work. It is a celebration of what they have already accomplished and an affirmation of their path to college.

Again, please contact Nick Silvester ([address removed]) or Laura Aimone ([address removed]) if you can help. Community Outreach is an important part of the CPI’s mission, and a great way for us to give back to our community.

Thanks so much!

Chris
