What is your favorite tabletop RPG?

Long time favorite is still champions, but very few games of that going on. Like all games lately, there are several versions of any rpg system out there. I enjoy world of Darkness, but the first version, have enjoyed D & D... 3 or 3.5 versions. Even ICE in days of old. Have had great fun with Shadowrun.

When confronted with a dragon, clearly bigger then you, will you fight or run?

Now that depends on the situation. With a group, and a plan, and against the right dragon, fight. With not enough people, better to run. Sometimes < gasp > talk to the dragon.

Who is the greatest wizard? Dumbledore, Gandalf, Merlin, Raistlen Majere or Wizard of Oz

Now this demands a definition of what is a Wizard. What Merlin did or could do depends on the work of fiction he's in. The Wizard of OZ was it seems at least in the classical, a humbug. It's been too long since I read the books with Raistlen so I wont include him. Gandalf to me is more of a powerful spirit and leader/mover/shaker, so for now I think I'd go with Dumbledore.

What was the first tabletop RPG you played?

2nd edition D & D ran by my best friends brother's DM, 1979.

My name is Gary Gandara. I'm 47 years old, divorced and a player of rping games since 1979. I was recently introduce to this group by a good friend of mine and so far it seems like a good group of people.
