The Fly’s Eye is a meeting ground of like minds coming together – piece by piece – offering a thousand perspectives in one glance.
Our goal? To make the world a little more solid, a little more understandable and much, much larger!
The Fly's Eye is envisioned as a series of community-organized events to take place every two months somewhere in New York City. We don't have a venue, or even our community yet, but we crave one. The Fly's Eye is meant to fill that void.
I would like to hold one meeting this summer only with people who might be interested in performing and/or organizing an event. The goal of this summer meeting would be to begin planning in earnest our first events this fall. Nothing too large or crazy, just enough to satisfy our itch and expand our base.
We are looking for writers, composers, videographers, poets, essayists, playwrights, multi-media artists and any who consider themselves as working from a literary base.
Think of these events as a salon, similar to those of Paris at the turn of the last century. That's what we want to do!
With our myriad perspectives, we can use our collective voice to change the world!
I look forward to meeting you all and learning more about the world through your eyes!
