Read, Meet, Talk and Enjoy! ...that's what we do with the books at our monthly gatherings.

It's a wonderful group of ladies who meet and discuss the book of the month.  We meet at each others' homes and learn, laugh and get to know each other. We select books based upon participating member suggestions. If you enjoy reading and expanding your horizons...join us!

The schedule for the books we will be reading through March 2015 (as well as all of the books we have read previously) can be found under the "More" tab in the "Files" section.

Thank you all for coming and helping me learn to enjoy poetry. Thanks to Astrida for the meatballs, Kathleen for the beverages and Margaret for the yummy desserts. Next year I need to remember to get the cake. It's just not right for the birthday girl to bring her own cake!

Hi Gale. Spoke w/Mom on the Island and she said, today they're fogged in, but it doesn't look to be as bad as the weatherman had first predicted. So... here's to hoping you'll be able to still make the meetup. (And of course that your house is still standing.) :)

I really wanted to do this, but I just don't have time to read the book. :(

Laura, this month's book is a very short book of poetry. And reading the book is not an absolute requirement to attend.
