High-tech Discovery Tour for Internationals - Saturday the 1st of June 2013

On Saturday the 1st of June, several high tech companies will open their doors for the public. A great opportunity to get to know more about the world of technology in the Brainport Region.The DTW organises a special guided tour by bus on  this day for the Internationals: the High Tech Discovery Tour. The organisation would like to invite the International community to join the tour and discover the high tech industry in the Brainport Region. There is a lot to see, do and experience.

12.15 Departure by bus from Old Post Office, Stationsplein, near Central Station Eindhoven.

12.45 Visit the Food Technology Park Brainport, including guided tour.

14.00 Departure by bus to hotspot Philips Healthcare Best.

14.30 Visit Customer Service Center Philips Healthcare Best. Walk around by yourself and explore this hotspot on your own.

15.30 Departure by bus to industrial area De Schakel Eindhoven.

15.45 Visit PANalytical-Fei-VDL ETG, including:

- Guided tour through Clean Room

- Meet and Greet with ASML and Bosch Security Systems

16.45 Departure by bus to DTW Café

17.00 Arrival at DTW Café – Visit exhibition  ‘STRP Meets  DTW’

HOTSPOT Philips Healthcare Best- Focused on people. Philips Healthcare develops products for the benefit of both  healthcare workers and patients. Philips Healthcare makes the difference by taking away barriers as they develop innovative and affordable solutions for the whole health care system, ranging from prevention, screening, diagnostics, treatment to follow-up care, at home or in the hospital.Focusing on people in health care means: understanding the needs of patients and the problems of health care providers. Philips Healthcare has specialized in cardiology, oncology and health care for women. During this tour visitors can also take a look at the campus, which is normally closed for the public.

HOTSPOT FEI Company – PANalytical – VDL ETG. Three companies will be joining hands during the High Tech Discovery Tour. This promises to be a special experience for visitors; after all how often does one get the opportunity to walk around in a clean room?The central location on the site will PANalytical.
