Hello everybody!! Don't forget to RSVP for this Saturday!!
It's play time!!
Even though there are enough activities in Eindhoven, the possibility for parents to be actively part of them is not always easy because they are often not as 'child & parent friendly' as we would hope. This led us to the decision to organize this super 'child & parent friendly' Potluck Party where, you can meet other parents, share experiences, help each other and make new friends!
This idea came into being when we discovered that there are a lot of expat parents amongst us who feel left out of the 'fun' !
The idea is to bring a home made dish/snack from your home country so we can set up a big buffet full of international flavours and colours. While you meet other parents your child(ren) can play in a safe environment. To keep an eye on the kids, a supervisor provided by Nonnies Parenting Support – Expat Parents Eindhoven, will be present.
We want to give you the opportunity to inform/ask us your pedagogical comments/questions if you have any. If you think you are in need of pedagogical guidance or advice let us know, so that we can construct a solution for you.
When & Where? The date has been set for the 31st of August. We will meet at De Klimbim in Waalre, at 11:30am. We will make sure to be noticeable from the entrance.
De Klimbim is a huge playground with an area of 6000m2 and, is full of the greatest play and game equipment for children of all ages and is even meant for handicapped children! It was founded by volunteers in 1962 and is still managed by volunteers today.
Please note that The Klimbim does not have a regular canteen but sells only coffee and tea. It is not allowed to bring pets. Entrance is 1 euro.
We are very excited to see you all the 31st of August!

We provide active parenting support & pedagogical solutions to parents and children with ADHD, Autism or learning disabilities. In addition, we offer parenting support and advice to parents whose children have no disabilities/disorders but, need special guidance and skills for applying an effective upbringing.
In addition to the above, we provide guidance to Expat parents through the Dutch healthcare system in the areas of pedagogical- and educational matters and, in addition, we undertake complete action in helping families get a Personal Budget (state grant) when needed and qualified. These are very complicated services, which are even more difficult for foreign people not speaking the Dutch language.
