Wearable Senses Open Lab #2, December 10

Baltan Laboratories invites you to join an innovative e-textiles development team at our second Open Labs session, on Tuesday, December 10 from 16:00 until 20:00.

Wearable Senses Open Labs #2
16:00 - 21:00, Tuesday, 10 December, 2013
Free workshop

In this half-day co-creation workshop, eight research students describe their Wearable Senses themed projects to a targeted audience (that's you!). This open lab serves as a peer review, as well as an opportunity for the audience to work 'hands-on' with the students to further develop their projects. The unique benefit of this process is that participants invest in a shared goal, and might continue working together to reach that goal after the workshop.

The students will bring whatever they think will be needed: project components, sewing machine, knitting machine, other small machines, and basic tools: scissors, measuring tape, etc. The atmosphere will be similar to a hack day. Sandwiches, drinks, fruit, and snacks will be provided to keep the creative energy flowing.

The final hour is open to the public. Invite your friends and colleagues to come see what was created! Workshop results and next steps will be presented to the public from 20:00 - 21:00.

I hope you're inspired to come join this rapid product development lab. We look forward to seeing you in December!

Really sorry that I won't be able to join after all. I've lost my voice and feel terrible so I'm going to bed instead. Have a great workshop and I hope there will be another opportunity.
