Inline Skating

Inline skating on great, smooth asphalt! We will do a round of 10-20 km at moderate pace and which takes one to two hours.

The route will change every time; actually, there is no fixed route. Usual sights on the route are Meerhoven, Grasrijk, Zandrijk, Hovenring, Park Meerland, Golfcourse Welschap, Beatrix Kanaal, Airport Eindhoven. Also a part of the "Slowlane" Cycle path with new asphalt along Beatrixkanaal is open by now!

If it is raining or if the streets are wet, we will postpone.

We meet close to the shopping center in Meerhoven, next to the bus stop "Meerrijk". Just watch out for people on rolls.

The bus stop is "Meerrijk", Bus 401 to the airport. NB: it is not allowed to board the bus with wheels under your feet. If you want to leave stuff (bag, shoes) behind during skating, we can drop them off at my place which will be on the way. If coming by car, you can park for two hours free of charge in the underground car park of the shopping center.

Some protective gear e.g. for your wrists is recommended.

This is a map of the paths for skating in Meerhoven: There is an optional stop at an ice cream place or a coffee stop at the airport if you want.
