We are a group of 3 students from Design Academy Eindhoven who are currently busy with a project on people’s relationship to home. We are curious about stories of experiences related to the aspects of integrating into a new community – how does ones relationship with their old and new country change? What is a feeling of home?
To get answers to these questions we are travelling around the Netherlands, contacting people who have moved here by choice, either in pursue of a career, education, relationship or just for the sake of adventure.
We want to talk to you to get to know about your feelings and experiences – and our aim is to put those stories and images into a collective student publication that portrays what is behind the faces of expats and existential immigrants in the Netherlands.

We would like to invite you to our group meeting on Wednesday 23rd of May at 14.00 hrs with 4-5 people at the Design Academy in the centre. We will take care for some nice snacks, drinks and a good atmosphere. It would be nice if each person participating will bring one item/object/story/memory/ recipe that reminds them of "home" (whatever "home" might be to them).
In addition to this, we are searching for 1 or 2 people that we can visit in their home for the same purposes. Good dates for this will be Wednesday 6th June, we are free the whole day so we can do two meetings that day.
I hope you can link us up to some interesting and open minded people for this!
