What Motivates You? The desire to get rid of your pain or your personal Values?

Until we awaken to a better way it seem that we spend most of our lives running from our pain.  We do get places but the ride isn't much fun with this approach.  The worst part about this is that it can lead to deep suffering.

What if it was possible to embrace the pain of living and to be motivated by something altogether different.  It is possible.  Our clarified Values can become the reason we move and run in life. We still do a lot of running but it is towards something we Value, rather then away from something we can't stand.

QUESTION,  am I running away from my pain or am I running towards what I love?

Join us as we together change our motivational reason for living!

Away or Towards.  It's our choice.

Brian, I really enjoyed last week. ACT continues to provide me with new tools to deal with the unwanted, but accepted, crap emotions that visit me (and Amy I might add). And it is encouraging to meet others on a similar journey.

We love that you and Amy are hanging in there with us. You two add so much to the group. It's a pleasure!

Anyone passing through elkton or Newark that could give Amy a ride to Insight? I'm going to be running late and I don't want to make Amy late too.

It was fun to meet you all and the discussion has already got me going deeper into my issues and also has me thinking about identifying my values. Thanks,Brian- you did a great job bringing us all up to speed and getting us to the same starting point. I appreciate all the preparation you did. And also, of course thanks for hosting this great group in your wonderful house.

Thank you so much Mary. You seem to fit right in with the group. It's so nice that you are coming now. May we all learn to accept who we are without all the fuss.

I'll be on a Silent Retreat that week. (or I'd be there)
May we face our shadow and transcend it to deep contentment, balance and wisdom.

As you can see I changed the date. Will you still be on retreat? If so we will miss you. You add so much to our group energy!

Aww. I won't be able to attend next meeting as I'll be in Texas. I'm disappointed because it sounds like a fantastic topic. For everyone else, I hope you find it illuminating. :)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
