Creating heart to heart conversations get easer when we are conscious of these four fundamentals. Join us as we inquire into and practice the four fundamental elements of successful communications based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg. NonViolent Communacation.

If you are in a relationship of any kind with other human beings and need to communicate, don't miss this series of meetings we are doing on Commpassionate Communication. If you can't make any of the meetings you might want to read the book, Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. It's a book for our times. Many of us are realizing how violent, pushy, and demanding we are individually and collectively. We are also realizing that the unexpected side affects of this approach can be devastating. Join us as we learn to end our own personal power struggle with others and most importantly with ourself!

I'm going to get the book, hopefully at the library so I can catch up. I wish I remembered everything on this topic from a couple summers ago but I'm getting up there in years. haha And I definitely need a refresher; you'd agree if you've been around me lately. I'm looking to balance assertiveness appropriately & when to walk away. Just thinking about it makes me miss you all. Brian, can you let me know if you follow the book and are on a particular chapter? Also, I'd love to take you to lunch in the next couple weeks and catch up. Miss the group and I hope to return soon. I've been applying the ACT techniques when I suddenly realize thoughts are what's bringing on emotions and behavior. I haven't mastered it; but when it does work, I feel like tons of weight was lifted off my shoulders. It's just about stopping/ignoring your thoughts b/c that's all they are.
