Seventeen ideals that give this group direction, meaning and purpose.

-Decrease unnecessary suffering by creating a meaningful life.

-Create an atmosphere where we can make meaningful connections with one another and at the same time make deep inquiries into the psychological  dimensions of who we are.

-Inspire a consciousness of Psychological Flexibility, a condition were consciousness is no longer fixated and dominated by old "no longer useful" Ego structures.

-Develop the skill of living fully in the here and now moment, instead of wandering aimlessly in the dead past or the imagined future.

-Bring about a deeper connection to our own conscious awareness.

-Become aware of how the practice of mindfulness is being successfully used in the new unfolding psychologies.

-Discover new and innovative ways of self inquiry that illuminate the entire spectrum of being human.

-Put our thoughts and emotions in there proper place and see them as no longer threatening to our ongoing condition of well being.

-Learn to  discriminate between who we are and who we are not, with clarity and to know the difference between our true self and the passing surface phenomena that is easily mistaken for who we are.

-Become  aware of our true values and to make life commitments based on those values.

-Become balanced in the polarity of being and doing, by bringing the simple state of pure being to consciousness so that our lives are not consumed by addictive unconscious patterns.

-Deepen our meditation and mindfulness practices to the point of wanting to do them because they are so intrinsically rewarding and because they connect us to ourselves in a deeply satisfying way.

-Become aware of our patterns of avoidance, how we create dramas and activities in the ongoing attempt to avoid the real issues that are crying out to be healed or accepted.

-Become less externally motivated by the belief that our true needs can be satisfied by the passing phenomena of the outer world.

-Learn and gain the freedom to consciously respond to life situations instead of robotically reacting based on programs and beliefs created in our dead past.

-free ourselves from magical thinking, the belief that if we think the right thoughts and have the right emotions that  the universe will respond with gracious rewards, that we will no longer be subject to the tragedies and difficulties of this world, and the belief that we can somehow escape the basic fact of life that "we win some and we loose some".

-Know more fully that even though life can be painful at times we can end much of our suffering by changing our perspective from resistance to acceptance.

-And finally, to be able to just sit in a chair doing nothing but "feeling completely enough" without any desire or need for any kind of self improvement!

If you are a lover of meaningful conversations about self realization subjects with thoughtful people in a pleasing and safe environment, then we will see you soon!
