Ever since attended a 3day stockmarket course a few years ago I gained an overwhelming passion for the financial markets, how they behave and how I can profit from it. Now I'm 19 and completing my last year at college I want to trade professionally.
I love the markets and learning about them. I have been passionate and taught myself as much as i can for the last three years now. Having just finished my A-levels I want to become a professional trader and won't stop until I can execute consistently profitable trades for a living. I am a strong believer in doing what you love doing in life and I love trading. One Thing that I have learnt about myself is that I prefer day trading vs long term investing, it suits me better.
Having tried various methods of trading such as penny shares, long term blue chip shares, and spread betting on demo accounts (capital spreads, cmc) and an actual account with finspreads I have tried and tested many ways to trade. I have made 90% on a penny share after a couple of months but also lost around the same % (thankfully small amounts) but prefer say trading for quicker trades. I am currently using cmc demo account to practice fx trading as it is quite new to me. I used to do small bets on the ftse to experience what its like to trade with real money.
FTSE, currencies, gold

Hi there Doug! How you doing? Had a quick read of your trading experiences etc and feel that we are in a similiar position in terms of our passion and possibly knowledge. I myself have recently finished university, tried a couple of jobs but like yourself I am trully fascinated by the financial markets. Anyways, would be good to have a chat sometime, trade ideas, experiences etc. All the best, Christian
