Justin Marlin and Loretta Buckner are hosting these workshops * FAMILY REUNIONS and GARDEN TOURS, where we'll be exploring some permaculture planting techniques and natural building skills!

1-3pm Intro to Permaculture: a FREE, interactive learning experience proven to increase your understanding of permaculture exponentially! (This course counts toward your Permaculture Design Certificate 72 hours, if you should pursue professional certification through the Tampa Bay Permaculture Guild.)
3-4pm Do-It-Yourself Wicking Worm Bed demo and hands-on (There is a suggested donation of $10 per person, if you can.) This workshop, created for a convergence of teachers from around the world in Nashville at "Growing Community Resilience", will demonstrate how to Spring into growing with an easy as 1-2-3 Mini Grow Bed. Earlier this year presented for Dave Jacke's class Designing Educational Ecosystems, graduate designer Loretta Buckner will show you how to create a growing system for any space, with free plans and a free bed giveaway! (mattress not included).
4-6pm Natural Building Skills: practice your hands-on (or foot, as the case may be...) skills as we continue to play with cob! Seed Balls, Poo Pots, and Rocket Mass Heater/stoves will be covered, along with the basics of how and why to work with dirt!
6pm potluck dinner - share the bounty - yours or ours--please bring drums or other musical instruments to share some circle time if you feel moved to!
