It's our third monthly Rant - and since it happens to be on 4th July this time, we'll be trying our hands (and feet!) at a few American dances. Not exclusively though - we'll still have plenty of the usual Irish, Scottish and other ceilidh favourites for you to Rant to. So whether you like Dashing your Willow or Stripping your Sergeant (we may have got those mixed up), there'll be plenty fun for all.
We hold a RANT on the first Friday of every month in the beautiful One Church in central Brighton. Doors open 7.45pm and our main session is 8pm - 11pm. Raucous ceilidh dancing, live band and caller, plus helpful staff serving awesome ale. (There's a 20-minute break halfway through to allow the band some respite and refreshment.)
Rant is perfect for those who're new to this type of dancing, as well as those who've done it a hundred times before.
Tickets are £6 in advance via Paypal from this site - this will ensure you have a ticket reserved. Tickets are also available on the door, but you'll have to get there early to be sure to get in. Suitable for age 15+
So jus' you hurry along now an' book that ticket - ol' Uncle Paul's been dyin' t' play for ya on his gee-tar!
