Well its almost 12 months since I started the Inner West Movie Monsters and its been a great year - but now is time to say 'adieu'.
Thanks to the people who made up the Inner West regulars: Susan, Wayne, Ken, Philip, Bernie, Nicholas, Patricia (and apologies to any others I may have forgotten).
Along the way we had a great Xmas dinner, gave out the Inner West Movie Monster awards and, with Ken's organisation and Nicholas's donation of a venue, had an Academy Award party.
On 2 May last year the group started with 'Gone Baby Gone' at Hoyts, Broadway and I promised to organise movies fortnightly (which I have done) and also that I would committ to being an Assistant Organiser for 12 months. 23 movies later...that 12 months is almost up, and I have decided to stand down and let some of the other members stand up and make the Sydney Movie Monsters calendar sizzle with movie events.
Adieu, farewell - and goodbye! And for the last time... 'see you at the movies'!
