SCDC# 191: Phoenix Comicon

I know it's a little down the line, but it doesn't hurt to start grinding out some details. I'm putting this info out early so I can start getting head counts and people can get early bird prices.

Once I can get a general idea on how many people are interested, I can accurately plan out driving, room, food, costumes, etc. Any theme ideas can be discussed here.

If there's anything you want to ask me privately, you can contact me at one of the following:

email: nguyenp422 (at) (I don't want to link in my email in case of phishing programs)
carrier pigeon: currently down right now. Use one listed above

Hey, is everyone interested in splitting hotel rooms or do you guys want to get your own?

Also, the early bird pricing is $40 for the weekend and goes up to $60 in January. I'm going to buy my ticket next week. If anyone is confirming but needs me to spot for a ticket, let me know asap. I'm all down for saving people $20+ if they can't get their tickets now, but I don't want to get taken advantage of.

Are we going for the entire event Thursday-Sunday?

I was thinking about carpooling everyone out Thursday then back Sunday. However if the majority of people want to do Friday - Sunday (or Monday) we can work things out. I'll go with the flow, but if people don't decide, I'll say Thursday - Sunday.

I was thinking so, unless people want to do Friday - Sunday (or Monday).
