Fellow toy camera member Doctor Popular is having a show at Lomography.
Drawing inspiration from the streets and sidewalks of San Francisco, Doctor Popular has put together this collection of black and white photographs for the debut issue of American Analog, a self published photo zine. The film is gritty, but Doc's lens is often focused on whimsical moments and fascinating characters that fill this city. Intimate moments shared between strangers.
Combining his love of zines, Lomography cameras, and city life; American Analog will release two issues a year in an affordable black and white format. The first issue of American Analog, which was funded via Kickstarter, will be released at the Lomography Gallery in SF on March 30th. Doc Pop currently lives and works in San Francisco's Mission District.
Doc will have Speakeasy Beer, a gallery show, and copies of the zine for sale.
