Introduction

I have a basic interest in people who are interested in others. I find that diversity-friendly folks are some of the most honorable, high-integrity, interesting, fun, compassionate, wonderful people that I know.

How did you hear about Urban Triangle and why did you join the group?

I heard about Urban Triangle from Olivia at Purple Rain at the Colony on 8/20/2008

Where are you originally from and where in the Triangle to you live?

Originally from Niagara Falls, NY, but have been in NC so long that I consider it home.

What is your sun sign and/or birth month and day?

For safetly reason, I usually don't answer this question.

What activities/events would you like to see the group participate in?

Potluck & DVD nights at members' homes, house parties, concerts, movies (especially indy, art, or foreign films), and movies on the lawn at the NCMA. In general, opportunites where we can talk, and then relax with a DVD, a "slide show" of someone's vacation, a concert, a play... I would also be interested in social justice volunteer activities.

What are you interests and hobbies?

Long time runner, also a walker, continuous education (usually IT topics), travel and vicarious travel (I love to see vacation pictures/movies/photos/slides), health and fitness, politics, health care and health care reform.

TUT is probably the most energetic, active Meetup group in the Triangle area! Everyone that I have met has been interesting, outgoing, and nice!
