Hello Wanda and Everyone,

I think it is absolutely wonderful that so many of you have chosen to take your mind off yourselves, get over yourselves (y'all know what I'm talkin' bout), and help someone else in need.

Per previous email, you will need to contact Durham Rescue Mission to register. Please ask for Mr. Wayne Cuffey - Volunteer Coordinator. All available jobs and contact information is listed below.

Would you like to give one of the best gifts ever this Christmas? Why not give the gift...of giving.

Durham Rescue Mission sure could use your help at the Annual Community Christmas Dinner, 2009.

The date will be Wednesday December 23rd 2009. They will need the names of each individual coming with you, along with one mailing address to send all pertinent volunteer information (instructions, name tags, parking tickets, etc...) This helps them organize the 400 plus volunteers who will be attending the event.

The following is a list of jobs, please pick the one that you feel is best suited for you. The last date to register is December 14, 2009 (You need to register ASAP). These are the jobs that are remaining:

Turkey Prep 8:00am - 12:00pm
Grill Attendants 8:00am - 11:00pm or 11:00am - 3:00pm
Can Openers 8:00am - 12:00pm
Greeters 10:00am - 2:00pm
Grocery Setup 9:00am - 12:00pm
Grocery Giveaway 11:00am - 3:00pm
Greeters 10:30am - 2:30pm
Balloons 10:00am - 2:00pm
Games 10:30am - 3:00pm
Utensil Wrapping 9:00am - 12:00pm
Clothing Setup 9:00am - 12:00pm
Clothing Giveaway 11:00 am - 3:00pm
Grills 8:00am - 12:00pm
Table and Chair Setup 9:00am - 11:00pm
Table Waiters 11:00am - 3:00pm
Drink Stations 8:00am - 11:00am or 11:00am 3:00pm
Grounds Crew 11:00am - 1:00pm
Toy Setup 9:00am - 12:00pm
Toy Giveaway 12:00pm - 3:00pm (Adults Only)Day.
