Responsibilities

General

- Perform routine and periodic updates of online content and graphics.
- Recommend improvements to existing website for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with in-house marketing department on all electronic and print marketing including press releases, emails, social media, online videos and other digital media.
- SEO management and implementation. Evaluate, track, and report usage of the organization’s websites. Identify and provide standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis, currently using WebTrends, Google Analytics, Webalyzer, and Perlfect. Perform routine updates and execute on recommendations from outside consultants.
- Build and maintain vendor advertising campaigns.
IT Management (light)
- Provide customer and staff technical support and troubleshooting.
- Plan and implement modifications to existing infrastructure.
- Maintain network security.
- Maintain computer stations and software.
- System backups, archiving, and disaster recovery
.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience required.
- Web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, XSL, MYSQL, Java, Hibernate, and Seam programming (i.e., design, development concepts, management tools, content publishing, podcasting, and related net technologies and protocols).
- Experience with developing and managing Content Management Systems
- Web based applications including database driven applications.
- Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
- Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Promptly answers support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
- Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility
- Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters
- Effectively manages and prioritizes multiple projects simultaneously, paying attention to detail, and works well under strict deadlines
