Welcome to the Working Mom’s Playgroup!
This playgroup was established on January 17, 2007 in the town of Walpole. The purpose was simple: to provide playgroups and activities scheduled during evening and weekend hours as well as an easy way for working moms to get together and offer one another support and friendship. We have grown tremendously over the years!
As of September 18, 2014, The Working Mom’s Playgroup, Inc. is a nonprofit business registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Along with organizing activities for the members in the geographical areas listed below, we have the ability to develop chapters in other communities. The nonprofit business currently has one chapter, in the Franklin, MA area, and hopes to provide support to many more mothers with the creation of additional chapters.
The Working Mom’s Playgroup, Inc. (WMPlaygroup), is geared towards mothers residing in the towns of Norwood, Walpole, Sharon and the surrounding communities of Dedham, Westwood, Canton and Stoughton. We believe it is important for all mothers to foster relationships with fellow moms residing within their close community. Mothers who live outside this catchment area will be encouraged to work with the Working Mom’s Playgroup, Inc. to develop a chapter in her local area.
Membership Fees are $25.00, to be paid within 1 month of joining and renew annually.
