Women & Stress: The Power of Connection
We’ve heard about the “fight or flight” theory of stress response, but it turns out that doesn’t tell the whole story for women. As women, the ways we go about managing stress matter. Learn the unique needs women have for mitigating stress, and why meaningful connection with others is essential for our well-being. During this Meetup, we'll have plenty of time to share, dream, and experience what less stress in our lives looks and feels like.
Join us to learn more, and leave with tools and inspiration to stay relaxed, optimistic and balanced in your own life!
About the Speaker: Dawn Preisendorf, MA is a Lafayette nutritionist and health coach who helps women transform stress, fatigue or persistent health issues into energy, balance and vibrant health. Dawn goes well beyond simply recommending what to eat, uncovering root causes of symptoms and supporting women in taking charge of their health. In her private practice, Dawn has found that stress is almost always an underlying cause of breakdowns in health and well-being, so she is particularly interested in helping women transmute stress to reclaim health and vitality. Dawn has a master's degree in nutrition and health education, and two health/wellness coaching certifications.
