IMPROV FUNDAMENTALS (FREE Workshop Series)

Have you always been interested in trying out improv comedy/theatre, but aren't sure where to start?

COME TRY OUT THEATRE MOMENTUM'S COMPLETELY FREE IMPROV FUNDAMENTALS CLASSES, STARTING FEBRUARY 9TH.

IMPROV FUNDAMENTALS, taught by Theatre Momentum's Artistic Director, Tony Rielage, will introduce you to the fundamentals of improvisation - building scenes together with other players through the foundation of agreement, listening, respect, and discovery. Learn basic scene structure, character, and mime, through the lens of the Theatre Momentum style of "improv as theatre"; all while playing fun theatre games.

Join us and try it out - IMPROV FUNDAMENTALS Level 1 is completely FREE!

The class schedule is as follows:
All classes run 12:00-2:00pm on Saturdays

Level 1 (FREE): February 9-April 13 (no class 3/16 or 3/30)
Level 2 (Pay What You Can): April 20-June 22 (no class 5/25 or 6/1)
Level 3 (Pay What You Can): June 29-August 24 (no class 7/6)

    **PLEASE READ- IMPORTANT**
Hey, gang- just wanted to make things clear- posting an RSVP on meetup does NOT guarantee you a spot in the class. We had to send out extra emails to confirm that people would be able to make ALL 8 classes, and then sent confirmation replies till we were completely full. If you did not get an email DIRECTLY from THEATRE MOMENTUM CONFIRMING your spot **ON FEBRUARY 6th**, you are NOT in this class.

In answer to questions I've received- if you received a confirmation email **BEFORE FEBRUARY 6th**, that does NOT give you a spot in this class. We WILL be starting another class series, and will be revamping our RSVP system, so there is absolutely no confusion. Again, so very sorry for this confusion!!

    FROM TONY --

    Hey, all-

Just a quick note about the Improv Fundamentals class meetup event coming up on February 9th - signing up on meetup doesn't officially get you registered for the class; you have to email Theatre Momentum directly at [masked]. If you've already done so, you're fine - you'll get details emailed to you if you've not already received anything. Please note, this is the first class of an ongoing workshop series - while some folks may drop after a class or two, the workshops are designed so each one builds upon the previous one. Thanks!

Workshop details can be found here:
    http://theatremomentum.com/workshops.htm#fundamentals

    Thanks!
