Mary Arrchie Theatre Co. Presents:
THE GLASS MENAGERIE
by Tennessee Williams
Directed by Hans Fleischmann
Original Score by Daniel Knox
THE GLASS MENAGERIE focuses on a man obsessed with regrets from his past. Living on the streets, he navigates an audience through the gritty back-alleys of his imagination. Truth and delusion collide in this re-imagining of Tennessee Williams’ classic memory play. THE GLASS MENAGERIE brings LA-based, Jeff Award winning ensemble member Hans Fleischmann back to Mary-Arrchie for this beautiful, heart wrenching tale.

- Chris Jones, CHICAGO TRIBUNE (4 STARS!)
“But the underlying emotional truth of his troubled and troubling family is always disarmingly evident, thanks to meticulous, perfectly pitched performances from everyone in Fleischmann’s remarkable cast.” - Justin Hayford, CHICAGO READER
”you’ve probably never experienced Tennessee Williams’s ubiquitous drama like this.”
- Oliver Sava, TIMEOUT CHICAGO

- Katy Walsh, CHICAGO NOW
“thanks largely to the commendable cast and creative scenic design, the intimate, unpolished show taking place in the cozy Angel Island Theater manages to be the most affecting version yet.”
